Overview

Holiday calendars tell Teamper which dates count as company holidays for a group of employees. Each calendar shows the country or region it applies to and how many employees are currently assigned to it.

Who can use this

  • Company admins

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to Holiday Calendars.
  2. Click Add Holiday Calendar.
  3. Enter the calendar name.
  4. Choose the country.
  5. Choose a supported region when the country has regional holiday data.
  6. Click Create.
Teamper shows only regions supported by its current holiday source. For example, a supported country may offer choices such as England or Scotland in the UK, or individual US states. The available catalog can change, and some countries support only a country-level calendar.

What happens next

  • Teamper adds the calendar to the list.
  • For supported countries, Teamper imports public holidays for the current year when the calendar is created.
  • You can open the calendar to review or add holidays.
  • If a country has no supported regional calendars, Region shows No regional calendars and you can create the country-level calendar without a region.

Troubleshooting

You cannot create another holiday calendar

Your plan may limit the number of holiday calendars available to the company.

Leave duration does not skip a public holiday

Open the calendar and confirm that the date is present for the correct year and that the employee is assigned to that calendar.

A region is unavailable

Teamper only lists regions supported by the holiday source for the selected country. Select one of the displayed regions, or leave Region empty when the country supports only a country-level calendar.

Teamper does not save the region

Choose the country again and select a region from the current list. Teamper rejects unsupported or stale region codes instead of creating a calendar with an invalid holiday source.
