Overview
The Employees page is the main admin workspace for people management. You can search employees, filter by status, department, and role, open the full employee record, and take actions such as inviting, archiving, restoring, changing policy, or adjusting balances.Who can use this
- Company admins
What you can do from the list
- Search by employee name
- Filter by status, department, and role
- Include archived employees when you need to review inactive records
- Open an employee record for more detail
- Start Add Employee or Import CSV
Import CSV supports column mapping, preview-based checks, and opening
balances for one selected active leave type. This is useful when you are
migrating employee data from an existing spreadsheet.
What you can do from an employee record
- Review profile details, department, holiday calendar, and leave policy
- Review the assigned manager and use Update to open the employee edit dialog
- Review leave balances and recent leave activity
- Edit employee details and manage admin access
- Change leave policy
- Adjust leave balance
- Archive or restore the employee
Delegate employee management
When Advanced Permissions is enabled, a company admin can give an employee the Employees management responsibility from that employee’s Permission tab. This lets them add, edit, invite, archive, and restore employees without giving them full company admin access. Import CSV and changes to company roles, grants, and ownership remain admin-only. See Advanced Permissions for the full access boundaries.Manage an employee’s manager
Use the employee record when you need to review or change who an employee reports to.- Go to Employees.
- Open the employee record you want to update.
- Review the Manager row on the profile card.
- Click Update next to Manager.
- Select a manager from Manager, or select No manager to clear the current assignment.
- Click Update Employee.
What happens next
- Teamper updates the employee record with the selected manager.
- The Manager row shows the current assignment on the employee profile card.
- If you clear the field with No manager, the employee has no assigned manager until you set one later.
What statuses and roles mean
Use Manage admin access to promote an active employee to admin or return an admin to standard employee access. Employee status and company role are separate: an active employee can be either an employee or an admin.
