Overview

Teamper uses Manager as a help center audience, not as a separate formal product role. In practice, this section is for people who approve leave requests, manage direct reports, or help their team understand who is away. You may be involved because you are a department approver, an admin, the direct manager linked to an employee profile, or an assigned reviewer.

Who can use this

  • Employees who have pending approval tasks
  • Department approvers who review leave for a department
  • People managers who need to understand what they can view in Teamper
  • Assigned reviewers who provide feedback in a review cycle
  • Company admins who help managers troubleshoot approver setup or visibility

Troubleshooting

Before you start

You need a Teamper employee profile before you can receive approval tasks or view employee leave details that are relevant to you.
Approval actions only appear when you are the current approver for a pending leave request.

FAQs

Is there a separate Manager role in Teamper?

No. Teamper uses employee access, admin membership, department approver setup, and direct manager relationships. This manager section explains tasks that people in those positions typically handle.

Why can I open some leave requests but not approve them?

You may be allowed to view a request because you are the employee’s direct manager or you approve their department, but Approve and Reject only appear when you have a pending approval step on that request.
