Overview

Teamper supports personal calendar feeds through Calendar Sync in My Calendar. There is no separate company-wide admin setup page for calendar feeds, so admins mainly help users understand which feed to use and when a feed link needs to be replaced.

What admins should know

  • Feed access is based on the signed-in employee’s own eligibility
  • Feed labels can include My Leave, My Department, and My Company
  • Feed links are read-only subscriptions for external calendar apps
  • A regenerated link replaces the old link

How to help a user

  1. Ask the user to open My Calendar.
  2. Ask them to click Calendar Sync.
  3. Ask them to copy the feed they need.
  4. Ask them to subscribe to that URL in their calendar app.
  5. If the old subscription no longer works, ask them to replace it with the latest link shown in Teamper.
If you are testing your own admin account, you can regenerate one of your eligible feed links from Calendar Sync. After regeneration, the old subscription link stops being the current link for that feed.

Troubleshooting

A user’s calendar app stopped updating

Ask them to copy the latest feed link again. If the feed was regenerated, they must replace the older subscription URL in the calendar app.

A user cannot see Calendar Sync

Only eligible feeds for the signed-in employee appear. If no eligible feed exists for that employee, there is nothing for the user to copy.
