Overview

Teamper can show leave in an external calendar through Calendar Sync. You copy a feed link from Teamper and add it to your calendar app as a subscribed iCal calendar. If Outlook sync is enabled for your company, you can instead connect Microsoft Outlook for managed out-of-office events and optional internal automatic replies.

Before you start

You can only use feeds that Teamper shows for your account. Depending on your access, you may see feeds such as My Leave, My Department, or My Company.
  1. Open Teamper.
  2. Open My Calendar.
  3. Click Calendar Sync.
  4. Find the feed you want to use.
  5. Click Copy URL.
  6. Add that URL to your external calendar app as a subscribed calendar.

What to expect

  • The feed is read-only in your calendar app
  • Teamper continues to control which entries are included
  • External calendar apps refresh on their own schedule, not instantly
  • Teamper can show when a feed was last checked
Only use feed links listed for your own account. Teamper does not serve feeds that are no longer eligible for that employee.

Calendar feed or Outlook sync

Outlook sync appears only when it is enabled for your company. See Connect Outlook calendar for connection, retry, automatic-reply, and disconnection guidance. If your current feed link is replaced, update the subscription in your calendar app with the latest link shown in Teamper. Do not keep using an old link or a link copied from another user.

Troubleshooting

  • If you do not see Calendar Sync, ask whether calendar feeds are available for your account.
  • If your calendar app does not update right away, wait for that app to refresh the subscribed calendar.
  • If a link no longer works, copy the current link shown in Teamper again.
