Overview
Company Handbook gives employees one searchable place for current company guidance. Company admins create pages as private drafts, organize each page in one category, and publish finished content to active employees.
Who can use this
- Company admins in companies where Company Handbook is enabled
Any company admin can manage every handbook page. The most recent admin to save a page becomes its attributed author.
Create a handbook page
- Open Handbook.
- Click Create page.
- Enter a Title.
- Choose one Category: Getting started, Leave and benefits, Policies, or How we work.
- Optional: add a short Description.
- Add the page Content.
- Click Save draft to keep the page private, or Publish to make it available to active employees.
You can use paragraphs, headings, bullet and numbered lists, bold, italic, strike-through, underline, HTTPS links, basic tables, dividers, and blockquotes. File uploads, embeds, comments, and collaborative editing are not available.
Manage published content
- Click Save changes to update a published page. Employees see saved changes immediately.
- Click Unpublish to return a published page to a private draft without losing its content or category.
- Delete a draft with Delete draft. Published pages must be unpublished before they can be permanently deleted.
Deleting a draft permanently removes it. Teamper does not keep handbook revision history.
What employees can access
Active employees can browse and search published pages in their company. Draft titles and content stay hidden from employee browse and search results. Publishing or updating a page does not send an Inbox or email notification.
Troubleshooting
I cannot publish a draft
Add a title, choose a category, and enter non-empty content. If a link fails validation, use a complete https:// address. Handbook content must also stay within the supported editor size.
I cannot delete a page
Published pages cannot be deleted. Click Unpublish, then delete the draft.
Employees cannot find a page
Check that the page is published and belongs to the expected category. Drafts never appear to employees.
