Overview

Company Settings controls the defaults Teamper uses across your workspace. Review this page early because leave duration, entitlement timing, and reporting behavior depend on these values.

Who can use this

  • Company admins
  • Employees with the Company settings responsibility when Advanced Permissions is enabled
Company settings management can be delegated through Advanced Permissions. Billing, ownership, access management, and module availability remain admin-only.

Before you start

  • Confirm your company name
  • Confirm which days count as working days
  • Confirm your fiscal year start month
  • Confirm the length of a normal workday in hours

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to Company Settings.
  2. Review Company Name.
  3. Review Fiscal Year Start Month.
  4. Review Work Week and select the working days your company uses.
  5. Review Length of Workday (hours).
  6. Click Save Changes.
If leave durations or balances look wrong later, check Company Settings before changing employee records or leave policies.

Delete company account

Only the company owner can request permanent deletion. Company admins cannot initiate this request. Email support@teamper.com from the email address on your Teamper account. Support confirms the request, then schedules deletion and suspends company access immediately. You can cancel before the 30-day deletion window ends. For the full deletion lifecycle and what happens to your data, see Delete a company account.

What happens next

  • New and existing leave calculations use the updated company defaults.
  • Reports and leave-policy timing continue from the fiscal year and work-week values you saved.

Troubleshooting

Leave duration looks wrong

Check Work Week and Length of Workday (hours) first. If those are correct, then review the employee’s leave policy and holiday calendar.

A reporting period does not match your company cycle

Check Fiscal Year Start Month and update it to the month your company uses for yearly tracking.
